Team Dream Big is a federal nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization formed in November 2021. Our mission is to reduce socioeconomic barriers for youth desiring to participate in equestrian sports. We believe children who are interested in equestrian sports should not be excluded from the sport based solely on the financial status of their parents. Equestrian sports provide youth an opportunity to engage in both individual and team athletics. The unique partnership between equine and athlete builds physical and mental strength, flexibility, and resiliency in a way unlike any other sport.
We believe exclusion from a sport based on a family’s socioeconomic status is a form of socioeconomic discrimination. Socioeconomic discrimination excludes qualified athletes from participating in a sport solely because a family is unable to finance the expenses associated with equestrian sports.
Our goal is to provide team members the financial resources they need to participate in equestrian sports; advance in training, develop and improve critical thinking, build confidence, and experience personal growth. Team members are encouraged to consider and explore the equine industry as a potential career path and give back to their communities.
Please consider supporting our efforts to promote inclusivity in equestrian sports. Together we can remove socioeconomic barriers to youth who are passionate about our sport but lack the financial resources to reach their dreams.
